EnhaNS Conference 2015

We take pleasure in welcoming you to be a part of EnhaNS 2015, a two day conference dedicated to Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) and nutrition for surgeons.

ERAS or ‘fast-track surgery’ as a concept has been adopted worldwide resulting in quicker discharge after surgery restoring mobility and GI function in double-quick time. Advanced pain management and abolition of PONV further added to the strength of ERAS. Pre-operative and post-operative nutritional intervention has also become an important component of ERAS.

ERAS has been made possible worldwide by a joint effort by surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, clinical nutritionists and nurses as a team each one of them playing a distinct role.

We plan a two day event complete with panel discussions , didactic lectures and pro-con sessions focused on ERAS and surgical nutrition. This will be an unique meeting where all the above mentioned professionals come together under one roof and attempt to understand each other’s view point. Be a part of this academic event organized by SIMS (SRM Institutes for Medical Science) under the auspices of IAPEN (Indian Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition)
