International Surgical Week ISW 2013

 The scientific program follows traditional lines with strong representation of digestive, trauma, endocrine, breast, endoscopic, esophageal, pediatric and military surgery as well as sessions in surgical metabolism and nutrition, burns, women in surgery and regional surgical programs. In addition, specialty societies under the umbrella of the Finnish Surgical Society will have programs in orthopedics and traumatology, urology, vascular, cardiothoracic, plastic and hand surgery. The congress offers interesting sessions with up-to-date information delivered by world leaders in their field to surgeons from all specialties as well as cross-specialty sessions in areas of joint interests. Pre- and post-congress practical courses will be organized by the integrated societies.
